How is this billed — by the hour or retainer?
Retainer (monthly) for ongoing engagements; fixed price for sprints. We don't bill by the hour because it incentivizes the wrong thing.
What's a typical engagement length?
Strategy Sprint: 2 weeks. Fractional CMO: 6+ months minimum (compounding takes time). Project Lead: as long as the project. We do quarterly check-ins to confirm fit.
